The 28th Annual Kailua-Kona Christmas Parade will be starting at 5:00PM on Saturday, December 15, 2012. This year’s theme is “Let’s Be Jolly!.” The parade will start at Kona’s Kekuaokalani Gym, and will proceed along Kuakini Highway, down Palani Road, along Alii Drive to Walua Road just past Coconut Grove Marketplace.

The Kailua-Kona Christmas Parade 2012 Grand Marshal will be Barbara Nobriga. Barbara has long served the community, with the Kona 4-H Horse Club, Kona Historical Society, Kamehameha Day Parade, and restoration projects such as Hulihee Palace.
Approximately 75 community and corporate entries will include floats, lights, music and candy! Please, if you can, support the Menehune Holiday Food Drive by bringing a can of food down to the parade; there will be collection points all along the parade route.
